Blanco County has a large share of rural homes on rainwater and well water, and comparatively few companies that will service a system they didn't install — so orphaned systems are common here. We take them on from scratch: assess the whole system, replace filters and UV lamps, service pumps and pressure tanks, clear first-flush diverters, and test the water. If your original installer is gone or won't come out, that's exactly the kind of call we want.

Permitting note
Blanco County doesn't run a building permit program in the unincorporated areas; septic and floodplain are the county's requirements. Inside the City of Blanco, city permitting applies. And because most systems out here aren't connected to a public water supply, the state's rainwater plumbing standards don't reach them.

Local conditions
Blanco County has very little utility water outside the city limits. Ranch and acreage properties here run on the Trinity, on collected rainwater, or on both, and drilling isn't always the answer — depth, yield, and mineral content all vary sharply across the county. Rainwater is the one supply a property owner actually controls, which is why so much of rural Blanco County was built on it. The tradeoff is that the system is the water utility, and there's no one else to call when it stops.
